Blankets Begun

I have finally gotten started on two baby blankets:

Entrelac Blue Blanket - for girlfriend Jill's baby. The border triangles are in seed stitch, and the squares will be in hurdle and moss stitch. Blake chose the stitch patterns from the book for me to ensure that they would be sufficiently masculine.

A Very Hungry Caterpillar Blanket - for my sister Vanessa's baby. I've done a many colored caterpillar in intarsia and I'm planning a sweet butterfly for the top corner.

But soon I'll be out of yarn and need to order more, so this will be a game stop and go for some time. And soon enough, they'll be here so I'm feeling the crunch!
