I just realized that these items, including the blanket I've just started all start with the letter "B". I don't know what to make of that - do babies understand the sound "ba" so much better or ? Just to break the cycle, I'm going to start work on a stuffed animal next.
So, we have adopted a "baby" of our own - a one year old torti calico named Groovy Coco Cat. Right now, Blake and I are engaged in a battle of wills over her name. He calls her "Groovy" and I call her "Coco". We shall see. Either way, today she experienced the right of passage for any of my kitties - attacking my spinning wheel mid-spin. So I can share a knitting appropriate picture:

Pretty kitty! :)
Baby girl!! yeah!!
She is a beautiful kitty! Good for you for adopting her. I enjoyed seeing your parents at the Anderson reunion on Saturday. Brenda looks awesome, so good to see she is making a wonderful recovery. Everyone enjoyed getting the cookbooks that she and Erin have been working so hard on. What a treasure! I've linked you to my blog where I have some reunion pictures posted. Your dad took a bunch too of course. :) Congratulations on your new house too! I enjoyed your slideshow!
Take Care!
