A couple of weeks ago, I finished my second forest path stole and it was everything that the first one wasn't - soft, lofty and not itchy! It took me terribly long and I've missed other projects. I'm currently working on a quick project from
Knitting Nature by Norah Gaughan, a bridge to a summer of projects. I'm planning my usual sweater for Blake (though I haven't determined what that will be yet) and a sweet sweater made with my own handspun.
In other news, my husband and I are buying our first house - a blue traditional built in 1948. Here's a funny coincidence - I grew up in Springfield, Missouri and my next home will be in Springfield, Oregon. Anyway, it's very exciting, and also exhausting because I've got another pretty large decorating project invading my knitting daydreams.
